Likes

Social life, campus life, education and its ambience
The sunsets here are pretty amazing. The campus is lush green
Less than half of the campus is under construction but the ones that is built is pretty cool

Dislikes

The connectivity between the main cities
There are too many restrictions in hostel
Any inconvenience is not sorted easily. You have to visit too many authorities for some silly reason.

Course Curriculum Overview

The first year is basically all the basics of all branch. But from the first year second sem, they start to introduce core courses for mechanical school. They should place the exams on the same par with all the students and the exam difficulty is easy

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no tuition free increase policy and the per year tution fee is around 1,98,000 for Category 1 students. There are some scholarships for the rural students of MP called STARS. There are many fests around the campus

Campus Life

The campus life here is pretty amazing. There is an annual fest called ADVITYA which is the techno-cultural fest of VIT Bhopal. The classrooms used the method called CALTECH for teaching. There are numerous clubs for every particular field in the college

Admission

The admission process is through the VITEEE and the admission in particular branch and college is done through the college's official counselling. For the Aerospace engineering course there is no specific cutoff but making a rank over 40k+ will easily get you into it. The exams are pretty ease according to me. The only issue is their rank received according to marks. They should implement marks v/s ranks system like NTA.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

Placement Experience:

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
