Course Curriculum Overview

The best part of the University is the FFCS where you get to choose your teachers and timings. VIT mainly focuses on application-based learning. VIT should hire more northern faculty. all doctoral faculty with the Phd examination.

Internships Opportunities

There are multiple internship opportunities in VIT that are free and paid but most of them come with a basic stipend that ranges from 8000 to 12000/- . all students need to endulge in a final year project that would reflect in their CV and help them in placement.

Campus plcement at VIT is more promising compared to other colleges as it maintains a placement rate above 90% every year and with drea and super dream offers by the top companies in the market like Amazon, Accenture, Microsoft, IBM etc.

The complete course is ranging from 13.4 lac - 22 lac according to the category you got based on your VITEEE rank. VIT does provide scholarships based on your CGPA in the previous semester. VIT provides immense amount of internship and placemnet oppourtunities.

VIT has multiple clubs that offer you different opportunities in your field of interest. VIT also holds an annual fest known as ADVITYA, which also includes a sports tournament including all major sports except track and field.

The hostel facility is amazing here since each floor has a faculty and immense amount of security which makes the campus and hostel totally ragging free. The mess separately divided into veg and Non-veg and provides with good quality food and safety checks

You must have 60% in class 12 in PCM subjects you can find the application on the official site of VIT, The application is for Rs 1350/- The exam is once per year with the subject being PCM aptitude and English, its a 2.5 hr examination of medium difficulty and NO negative marking. VITEEE can have a lower application fee

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
