College hostels was very well maintained
The college has good greenery in and around the campus
You have good canteens inside the college and also stationary

Dislikes

There are way too many students studying in this college
The hostel gym is not well-maintained and is very crowded
They do not have a zero-attendance policy in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Btech is usually the most taken course after Pcm so I followed the same. And as far as the is circulum is preparing you for the real-world applications, I would say decent as I am from 1st year. For suggesting areas of improvement I would say they should add zero attendance policy

As far from my knowledge you can get pre placement offers for 5 semesters. The last year highest package of the Vit Bhopal was 59 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is to secure the placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

My tuition fees is 408000 per year. And my hostel fees is 164000 per year for 3 beds non Ac. In hostel there are many variations depending on the no of beds and Ac and non-Ac. I think there are no scholarships, you can say that there are different categories for fees structure ranging from 2lakhs to 5 lakhs per year.

Campus Life

There are all kinds of clubs technical and non-technical. Example: dance, music, debate, AI, iOS, etc Sports Activity are decent but I would say the campus lacks in gym currently. As we have only 1 gym only and there are too many students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are pretty well maintained and the rooms and washrooms are cleaned regularly. The mess food is also good as compared to other colleges in my opinion. The hostel is a bit more expensive I would say as compared to the rented room or PG in the locality.

Hostel Fee: INR 164000 per year

Admission

We can fill out the application form online and we have you go to the examination centre to write the exam. The frequency and timing of the exam were very well organized. And the difficulty level was also decent from my perspective.

start or 7 th sem student get eligible for placement. tcs, acccenture , wipro , capgemini , cognizant , epam and many more. highest package was 1.12 cr and the average package are 4 lpa. aproxx 70 to 75 percent student are geeting placed in every year. my plans to get a job .

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
