Likes

Good campus environment and spacious campus.
Teachers and staff are cooperative and friendly
Hostel facility is good and provides student welfare.

Dislikes

Too much distance from maintown and takes time for day scholars.
Canteen facility not good with less to zero food quality.
Parking space is less. No additional support for personal vehicles of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum and syllabus is easy and low level. Students can prepare for semester end exams and its has a lower difficulty level. No online teaching courses which could be improved along with smart classes

Internships Opportunities

Campus provides on campus internship opportunities and a major and minor project is done at the end of campus year. Reputed companies such as Aditya Birla and Airtel offers internship opportunities here.

Placement Experience

College provides on campus placement in the last year. Different companies provide internships and placements. 50% of them get placed with a good package. Students can also opt for off campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships along with loans are available for students. Students need to pay 29500/- per semester. This covers all your charges. Including tution and academic fee. Hostel requires a different fee depending on the rooms.

Campus Life

We have different sports events organized on a yearly basis. Students can participate in different club of their choice. There is also workshops of different courses where students can take suggestions of their career advancement.

Admission

Admission process is easy. Candidate should be a intermediate pass with eligibility criteria of 50% in average. Admission forms are available through admission office. No online forms are available. Which should be improved. Exams are taken after each semester end. And the exams are easy. For any course you can apply on the admission office if it matches your criteria. No entrance exam is required.

Sarala Birla University is a nice choice for UG courses

Placement Experience:

When I went to college's orientation program, they showed a data in which more than 90% students placed last year. I don't know the exact but there were only few students last year but from our batch, the number of students increased hugely. So, I guess there will be an decline in placement ratio. According to college and some seniors, some big companies visited in college and they hire meritious students. Average package is around 6L which is decent.

Placements are really good for my department. From Semester 4 th you all are ready to get placed as company visits in an even semester. The companies visited are DeloitteUsi, Capgemini, Tcs, Wipro, EY, and Byjus many more...you just need to be attentive. The highest package till now is 10 lpa and the average is 3 lpa And there are placement coordinators who help you in guidance. Almost 75 to 80 percent gets placed with low to average packages.

I applied on various government colleges like BHU ,OUAT And various private colleges like Netaji Subhash university, jamshedpur . In BHU the eligibility criteria for taking agriculture was to have maths in higher secondary and I was not having that In ouat the counselling process was very late.
