Likes

As it is a Govt college the fees is around the lower side according to the current college academics
It is placed near BBSR so it may attract greater number of good companies and can provide oppurtunities
Studious environment so it helps you to focus on the studies

Dislikes

Hostel facilities for all the students is not available
The college canteen closes at night and it often remain closed on sundays
Very little campus area and not many facilities available

I got selected in the Information technology branch. I chose this branch as it provides me with a lot of opportunities in this techy world. faculties are sufficient in this Branch. teachers are qualified and well-mannered

Placement Experience

The average placement package of our college would be around 7.5 LPA . Students of mostly 6-7 semester become elligible and apply for placements and it continues for around a year . For the number of companies and students placed u can check in the college official page

Fees and Financial Aid

As our course is an SSC course so we have to pay a greater amount fees compared to other core branches. Our fees would sum upto 78000 a year for academics only with around 40000 a year for hostels . All the govt and private scholarships are applicable

Campus Life

There are so many different clubs not only for different sports or dance and song , many tech related clubs also which provide a better way of exploring and interracting with seniors . we have different sports events and tech events been organized every year

Hostel Facilities

We have a shortage of hostels for the boys as there are only 2 hostels for boys so many of the boys don't get hostel facilities . The hostel fees add upto 40000 per year. The meal quality is average according to the hostel standards

Admission

The admission is based on JEE percentile. The admission was through OJEE councelling . You can expect a seat in this college with an percentile around 90 so that you can get good branch allotment. They also have reservations for SC , ST , Exservicemen etc

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

This university has a higher rate in providing placement to the students.approximate eighty percentage of students getting campus.i had also got a campus in my final year.From the forth semester students gets a chance to sit in a campus test .There are lots of national and international companies visited to this university they give a lot of offer to the students.The average offer package by the companies are three lakhs a year.

Best option if u r not getting a seat in nits or iiits..

I gave SET for Symbiosis Pune and viteee..I was getting a seat in symbiosis Pune in cse branch.. However at the same time I also got a seat in cse branch in OUTR BBSR (earlier CET BBSR)..Since the later is government college with good ROI I chose CET BBSR..
