Course Curriculum Overview
I always had the goal to crack PCSJ so that's why i choose this course. I like knowing about my country's law so that's also a plus point of this course. This course (BA LLB) helps you to become aware of your rights and liabilities and it's the best course if you want to go in civil services. The curriculum is vast so a little more time in semester exams is needed . The professor here are amazing, they do they job really well. The only problem is that the duration of clases should be little less . So the students won't feel drained after the end of the day. The College conducts 4 exams in a year. There are 2 semesters in one year. And we have our semesters divided into Mid term exam (40marks) and Semester exam (60 marks) .
Internships Opportunities
You have to work hard for you CV . There is no official intership programme here but you can get intership if you are a hard working student. The professor are supporting and they suggest you different opportunities for the intership.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The fee structure here is affordable as this course is in very high demand and cost a lot of money. For the 1st year the tuition fees is 50k and for the next 4 year it's 45k . Total tuition fees cost would be 2.3 lakhs for whole 5 years. And hostel and yiur living expenses depends on the student. Cheap as well as high facilities are available. National and State scholarships are available. But specially if the college provides scholarship is not certain. You can volunteer to become a part of any cultural committee here. Or become member of Moot court , speech seminars, debate competition and much more.
Campus Life
Number of festivals held are average here. But as a Law student you don't get to participate in much festivals. We have Annual Function held in the month of February. Cultural programs are here almost every 2-3 months. For Law Students Seminars and Special Lectures are help evey 2nd and 4th Saturday. There are two library in the campus. One is specifically for law students. The Library is full with law books for the 1st to 5th year students. The classes are held normal on white board and marker although we do have projector for smart classes. For any student interested in sport we do have sports club . They can join in that club and play at University level of even inter state. We did had one club that was run by students but due to some issues it doesn't exist anymore.
Admission
I got admission here through CUET . For admission in this course you need to chose English, General Test and Legal Studies as your subjects in CUET Exam. While filling the CUET form you have to opt for Allahabad University as you desired college . Only then you will be able to get admission in this college. After the CUET results you just have to keep an eye on the College's official website and there the cut off scores would be available. You need more than 400 score for your admission if you are general. If your score is in the cut off then you have to register and upload your required document on the College's website. List of the document in mentioned on the website. The Next day a list would be uploaded on the website and if your name is on the list then you have to go to your registration , there you will see that the payment option is now available. Total 50500 rs is the fees of 1st year. After the payment make sure to get the copy of the fees receipt. Hope this helps.
