Very Good

College is very good for the person who wants to study and do well in life. Yes it lacks enjoyment which a student hopes for but overall it's a great experience.

I was previously a Diploma student in Computer Engineering. So I got admission in the college based on my aggregate percentage of Diploma final year.

Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering is an University affiliated college, so it follows the curriculum decided by the university. Few subjects are added on by college but main focus is on University syllabus only. Course curriculum designed by the university is very good along with the electives which provides students the freedom for specialization.

College allows other companies to visit the campus and take the students based on the company's requirements. I got internship in Tata Consultancy Services and no stipend was provided by the company, but it was a good overall experience.

Training and placement cell of college is the main highlight. Each and every student is trained very well for placements. Every year 30+ companies visits campus which provides a great platform to every student to get a job in a good company. There is no restrictions on the number of job offers you can get, it's completely depended on the students caliber and market conditions.

Due to the location of college, the fees obviously will go high. Compared to the Government colleges, fees is definitely high & also higher than the average of other private colleges. Fee structure includes all the stuff like tuition fees, maintenance charges, gym khana, development, etc. Gym khana fees is a waste of money as this is the weakest section of the overall college management, very poorly managed.

No scholarship or loan facility was provided to me by the college and even I never heard from others of any scholarships or loan facilities. So not aware of any such facilities.

Campus life is good though canteen is worst, seriously it can't get any bad, management needs to work on it a lot. Various certification courses are conducted by all the departments to help the facilities and the students. Mostly boys are the part of the college with 30-35% of girls in the college. College is having a basketball court that's it no other ground available. Robotics and debates are conducted by different student councils.

As I have just completed my Engineering, I am not aware of any alumni network. Senior students are very helpful as they guide you through all the difficulties you face.

Every diploma student need to purchase a broucher for admission in engineering college. Once broucher is purchased, the form filling and document verification takes place. After that we get a merit list based on our percentage. Then we have to fill the option form for the colleges we want to get the admission in. Then after few days final allotment list came with the details of institute and course allowed.
