Course Curriculum Overview
I would give a rating of 8 out of 10 to this couse curriculum. My decision to take this couse was mainly fueled due to my interest in cars and automobiles. I was also fascinated by the working of various mechanics. I believe that after completing this course I would be able to design engines and automobiles. The level of difficulty is medium and core codes are a bit hard
Internships Opportunities
We have wide range of internship opportunities in our college. We mechanical engineers have various internship offers. We recieve certain amount after completion and get a valuable letter of recommendation. We are also sucked into the companies if we perform well.
Placement Experience
The placement rate in my college is more compared to other local colleges. Our campus is usually visited by Microsoft, google, vitro etc. After getting a degree I plan to pursue further studies in MBA. I feel that that if you do the work, you will be placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees is rather constant but it is a bit much considering my financial status and since I belong to general category I don't have any reservations and am not eligible for most of the scholarships. The complete cost of my education would be nearly 1200000 at the end of 4 years. I have no taken any jobs as I'm still in btech
Campus Life
Our campus has 3 main fests elan, Milan, diesta where we interact and conduct these. We also have e summits. We have wide range of books in the library and various online resources. We have projectors in every classroom. We have wide range of sports like football, basketball, volleyball and others.
Hostel Facilities
I have a good room since I live in New hostel. We have wifi facilities, charging ports, a cot and a table in our room. The mess menu is nice and the relative quality of food is good compared to other iits. The affordability of hostel and mess is average.
Admission
We first wrote exams JEE mains and JEE advanced. After recieving the rank and passing eligibility criteria for selection into iits/nits, the counseling took place through JOSAA portal. We selected options in order of our preferences and paid an initial fee of 35000. Then we had counseling rounds and got placed into iits based on rank.
