Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching faculty's are good and experienced in there on field so the class are to understand.The lab and equipment's in the lab are updated and maintained properly and the lab staffs are really helpful

There is no internships provided by colleges.we students are expected to find internship ourselves .The internship provided by techmaggi is cheap but there internships are mostly online and our college does value them

As said the tuition fees are manageable.Our college provides scholarships and fee reduction to higher scoring students who are in need of financial assistance.There are 3 main programs conducted on the campus .

Campus Life

There are various clubs in our college it's all managed by individuals who are knowledgeable in that field of study and overawed by professors who are passionate about the club.Club welcomes all students dispite there academic excellence

I am currently staying at our college hostel.Our hostel has 4 types of room single bed room double bed room ,triple bed room and four bed rooms.The food,electricity and water bill are separate from the rent

Admission

The admission process was easy. My entrance exam marks greatly contributed in my admission process.The payment method where we pay by challans was tedious so that's a negative point as google pay is not that reliable

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
