Quality of the college, some of the professors are very kind and knoweldgable and always there to help you train root is the best way to travel jais railway station is in walking distance from rgipt campus.
Some of the prof. are very koind and always there to help you and guide you.
hard situation makes you better no matter what other says.

Dislikes

funding given to college are not used properly and transparenty
Campus is very small for this much students
very poor connnetivity for travel and located at the outer

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

12 lakhs as a Fees is high for a government college which is just under 45 acreas i don't think so that it is appropriate. It should be equivalent to nits 6-8 lakhs. UP scholarship, NSP and are some nice scholarship at which one can apply

URJOTSAV tech-fest , ENERGIA sports fest, KALTARANG cultural fest , are some major fest in college, books and journals. are limited but not less one can get it. classrooms are beautify but very less only 16 in total. sports is avergage.

Admission

I had got a 21k rank in JEE Advance The admission process was pretty easy you just have to apply for Counselling through the RGIPT portal and fill up your details after around a week or so you get the Results through email, I got Chemical in the first round but by emailing a request that I wanted Tech branch they change the brand to IT without taking part in another counselling

Placement Experience:

Till six semester students become eligible to sit for placement recruitments. As placement rate is low so most of the students prefer to persue pg after qualifying GATE or CAT. Many companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro etc. Visits the campus for Recruitment but placement is totally based on the skills and knowledge of the students. Campus provides very calm and clean environment and ample time to involve yourself in any exam preparation. No one is their to hamper your studies. Library is available 24×7 and one could utilize it very judiciously. Highest package reached in my course is approx 10 lakhs and Avg. Package is of 6.75 lakhs offered by the Company. Approx 5 to 10% students are placed Based on their skills. My plan is to preapare for UPSC simultaneously along with my btech

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty was not bad but sometimes they will not attend the class due to this student not being interested to attend the classes. Also, this college removes the b.tech course from the next session may be. though the faculty taught really well. It takes only pharak courses.

For all the colleges I have applied I decided to go with this college as it is an institute of national importance and it appeared more appealing compared to colleges that i was getting. I qualified JEE Advanced but my rank was not enough for IIT so I chose this college as it select candidates based on thier rank in JEE Advanced. I went for the sake of Govt. college name which turned out of no use as teaching and support is very bad. Also my course name is just a gimmick. Our college admits students on JEE Advanced and for left over seats they use JEE Mains Score. Till 90 percentile in JEE Mains students can get this college. I was getting a better branch in this collage with more opportunities. But when I saw my other college list that I got there was the lower branches. So instead of getting good colleges like IIITs and BIT Mesra and having lower branches. I choose to come to RGIPT which is also a reputed name but with a great booming branch.
