Remarks

It is the good college for the student who is really motivated enough in studying hard as it provides nice help in achieving success. I have not taken classes just like other students. My current pointer is more than 8 and it was quite an easy task for me to achieve it. Stay focused and learn on your own . College helps but you must do your own part as well

Entrance Preview

I have the Jee mains but my score was low than needed to pass the cutoff of open category. In that year Maharashtra CET was not held and they calculated percentile based on 12th boards and Jee score.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they provide internship of live projects to whoever would need after semester exams. An internship will start after semester 6. Companies are mostly startups and small level IT companies.

Placement Experience

2

As far as I know, 40% get placed. In 2015 TCS recruitment took more than 200 students. Currently, placement is average and mostly depends on luck. Average package 3.3 Lacs. Companies: L&T, TCS (Major Recruiter) are well known and other private companies.

College Events

2.5

They arrange a lot of programs and session for improving knowledge and skills. Also, they do Fest each year and it is fun and enjoyable. Sports are also played every year. In Fest lots of students participate from various colleges They even hold IEEE national level paper presentation providing the good platform to students interested in research.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fixed as per the Maharashtra government sanctioned rules. My fees are One Lakh Five thousand. It increases 10% every year. It is Rs: 1,05,000 which got increased by 10 % every year from last 3 years for my batch. I took admission in 85000 (Rs:8.5K).

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans can be taken from banks. Also, Government scholarship based on caste and economy status is helping the vast number of students

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel is good and better with the price of 60K (I don't know exactly) Mess provides average food but it's healthy. Also, it is cheaper. Our college canteen is best.It provides best options and reasonable rates. Best wide availability of choices. It has all options ranging from Chinese food items to all south Indian food. They are preparing it well and quick

Alumni/Alumna

It is having alumni forum but it is not helpful. No alumni interaction takes place. Senior students are not quite helpful for placement perspective.

Exam Structure

Earlier we used to write manuals and perform session. But now everything got changed and made into ERP system. We make softcopy submission. It is great that our labs are now fully equipped with projectors and other necessary materials. Also, some of them are Air conditioned.

Admission

It was luckier than I have thought as due to a CBSE student my percentile came down way far than Maharashtra boards students, due to more students studying in India in CBSE than the total of Maharashtra 12th students.Ratio of your marks by total student who passed that year was the criteria for calculating percentile.Belonging to CBSE my ratio of total student was much more than Maharashtra Boards. So my percentile went to around 54% I took my admission at last level by visiting the center Vidyalankar wadala and opted my course based on availability of courses at that time along with the order of rank basis .My rank was 51004.

Faculty

2.5

My faculty is good. They are experienced well. I assume mostly 15-20 years. They are well conversed and teach us very well. They focus on all but I assume you must study on your own in spite of taking classes. It has helped me gain more time and I feel good to study on my own Also, faculty clears doubt whenever you need them. They are really caring and understanding.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
