Likes
- Teachers have kind attitude and friendly behaviour.
- Honest while checking papers, teachers are strict to check papers, they don't think about that we'll have to pass students, they're honest with their jobs.
- Extra curriculum along with curriculum, perfectly balanced. While studying, we do also have fests which doesn't clash with exams, so we do good in both.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure. Not very high or top notch.
- Faculty replacements are not available. Once a faculty leaves, it's difficult to get a new one in less time.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for AI and Data Science as it's an emerging field, which is growing exponentially, I was interested in data science more so I opted in this course. But after coming to college I realised what were studying is history before the development of ai, like it's informative and all the points are covered, but cannot really relate with real world yet. Teaching methods values from faculty to faculty. Improvement is only needed in infrastructure and canteen. The frequency of exams is fixed. Per month there's exam, so we're always found studying. The difficult level is from medium to hard .
Internships Opportunities
As I'm in 2nd year, I don't really know details but our college do provide internships and placements... Placements are average but internships are good, I had some seniors who got placed in Deloitte as well, and TCS mostly. And about internship, college does full support for that!
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't take admission through cao round, I directly took admission hence I couldn't apply for any scholarship. My fees for first year was 158000rs and right now in 2nd year, my fees is 147000rs. I don't know much about scholarships and breakdown of fees.
Campus Life
There are fests like resonance, revive, sportech, antarang, avalon, many more. It's never ending.! Library is the best part of this college for real!! All books are available and accessible to students, we sit there and study for hours!!
Admission
I didn't apply to any other college, I urgently took admission as I was late to take admission due to my health issues. So this was my first and last option. I'm not regretting though, not a bad college. But could be better.
Faculty
For every class, a class instructor is assigned. The class size is 60 to 70 students in a class. Right now I'm in 2nd year, and we have a teacher named saylee narkhade, I like her the most coz she's very supportive, very kind and good human! She helped us alot when our faculty left, she assured us that replacements will be done soon, till then she'd provide the study material.. There are 3 written exams, iat1, iat2 and semester. Practicals and viva are also there! Passing is tough as the college is honest, so 60% students pass and else get failed in any subjects one or two.
Night Life
Everything closes by 7pm. Not aware about hostel but campus is closed by 7 or 8 sharp. Locality is safe to roam around at night, tye college is really near to seawoods nexus mall, you can walk by or use train for transport too, just one station away. When we have free lectures and nothing to do or study, we hangout at the nexus mall.
