Course Curriculum Overview

In future electronics and communication engineering will be demandable as compare to now days. In college total of faculty no are above 60 and students are more than 600. All the faculity is good and well educated,and thay have good knowledge.

when i admited in college my stream eletronics and communication engineering fees is low as compare to other college in westbengal (engineering college) in ECE fees is 297500,CSE fees is 4445000 ( in 2023) ,ME fees is 275000, Civil fees is 265500. All the student get svmcm schlorship.

In my college every year annual fest and tech fest heald. Some annual fest name is Gemarz v3.4 and DKB footbal GMIT&FCP. In college Library more than 5000 books are available. every year various type of sports are heald.

In hole colleges in all rooms fan,light,projecter and smart bord are availble.Some rooms AC atached. colleges hostel meal and food are no good no bad,dont have particular menu. Registration process for Hostel and Affordability is come hosel and meet hostel manager.

Eligibility of the course is in your bord exam 10th and 12th minimum number requried more than 60 percentage above,and class 12th bord must be science background. I fond the application and course from my friends who study in gargi memorial institute of tecnology.

IIT KGP: The kgpian way

Placement Experience:

4 yr btech students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of their 3rd yr(5th sem) and for placement 7th sem. 5 yr dual degree students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of 4th yr(7th sem) and for placement 9th sem. So many different profile companies came for placements like amazon, google, ibm, apple, l&t, wipro, infosys, texas intrument, etc. Highest package was 3cr and average is about 20-25 lakhs. Insightful Review - Revealing about campus life and academics.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semeter. Companies visited till now are : tejes - 9lpa, keysite - 7lpa, streebo - 5lpa and a few other product based companies with average pakage offered about 3lpa. Higest pakage - salesforce (32 lpa) off campus, keysite (7lpa) on campus. Last year 60% of total students from final year got placed. My plans is to purusue a higher degree as placement scene of your college is not that great and also i have intrest in ai/ml so i want to study future and dive more deep into its concepts

The course curriculum is not that different from other colleges. At the beginning or 1 st semester we are made to complete the bridge course which basically includes stuff we read in classes 11 and 12. But then also they can't teach properly the already read topics.

GMIT IS THE BEST ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN SOUTH 24 PARGANAS

I am really satisfied with the facilities that the college provides us

I came to know about this college through a pre-counseling seminar after WBJEE. Once I got information about the college I visited the campus and was really impressed after meeting the faculty members and visiting the workshop and campus. I got admitted to the college in June, 2019. I preferred this college because I loved the environment of the college campus and certainly the infrastructure. Moreover, the college overall has a good placement and has a ragging free campus.
