Highly qualified professors and willing to share there knowledge
Exams is conducted in well planned way and result is authenticticults
1947 college still infrastructure is good due to regular maintenance

Dislikes

Hostels is not alloted to every applicant
No strict action against maas bunk so becomes an habit
Labs is not properly working only 1 or 2 labs are in running condition

In madhya pradesh mechanical engineering branch is good in only one or two colleges jec is one of them. Faculty students ration is slightly less. Mostly faculty is mtech and some are phd. Exams conducted every six month and easy to pass for average student

In 7 th semester students are eligible for placement. Past 2 years many company is visiting also to mechanical engineering branch LNT and Reliance are main. Average package of 5 lacks per year And highest in nearly 10 lacks

One time fees - 2250/- Tution fees (per sem.) - 11150/- Annual fees - 969 Scholarship Many studenrs got is OBC. And Medhavi scholarship. Nearly 1300 exam fees Fees is very less as compared to other colleges

Campus Life

Annual fest name is AVAHAN conducted in the month of April first week of 4 days last year it is conducted for 1 April 2023 to 4 April 2023 Library is plus point but only open till 5pm Many clubs are run by student named- Karvan - for educating poors nearby Jlug Literacy

Admission

Jee mains score is considered for admission above 90 percentile you can chose any branch of your choice including cs it. Jee mains is conducted 2 times a year January and April and application form released in November and feb every year. And them admission is processed through mpdte site after result of jee mains. Application fee for mpdte form is 2000 and filled in the month of July and and seat allotment announced in two rounds and the third and final level is College level counselling... Mostly tution fees comes back as scholership for most of the students obc scholarship and sc st.. Some seats are reserved for tustion fee waiver category.. Some studends comes after deploma.. So overall less fees... Hostel fees is 200 per month and mess charge is 2400 per month to the best of my knowledge... Higher secondary and marks above cutoff in jee mains is basic eligibility for admission in jabalpur engineering college...

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.

After my jee didn't go well, I applied for MPDTE counselling where I got to know that JEC jabalpur best fits as per my financial conditions. Also I prefer hostel life which I got in this college with minimum fee . Jabalpur Engineering College enough review

Yes , i can apply for this college for reason is it was a good college in your lower rank in jee mains exam you can also admit 12 th result and lateral entry for diploma students. Every year in july and august time there was counsling happed you can apply through mpdte portal andyou can join at lower rank and if your are not able to pay more fee in private colleges that was a good option for you . So admission process is via MPDTE councelling which is the state level councelling process. Student get admission through the jee mains percentage. Accordingly they got the branch .
