Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course beacuse in futer electronics and communication engineering(ECE) will demandable compare to present carrier opetion in goverment or private job,but main reason i chosse this course here in ECE branchs fees is low compare to other colleges in west bengale. Total faculty in college is around 60,and students are 800. Faculty are well educated but some Facultys have low knowledge on his won subject.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies are provide internships like bassatti india ,tcs,jio and others they provide 10 to 12 thousand per month during their internship and as a fressher you joined company they provide good money .

Placement Experience

All the students are aligible for campus placements from 7th semester and 8th semister. In college campus 10 to 12 companies come for placement like TCS,Bassatti India,Plaser India,Jio and others, percentage of students getting placement 80 to 90 percentage on off campus and on campus. my plane is after the gatting the to start a startup .

Fees and Financial Aid

In college compuer science fees is now 440000,compuer science and buisnes system fees 445000,Elecrical branch 295000,Elecronics and communication fees is 297500,Mechanical branch fees is 295000,In civil fees is 295000. College personaly not give any schlorship,but whos have good mark above 60 % in 10th and 12th standerd in bord exam he/she get swami bebakanda schlorship wroth 60000 per year ,and he/she total amound get during in 4 year 240000 .

In college libary more than 10000 books are avilable for students. the name of the annual fest gemitz v3.0, 3 engineers from bassetti(france) gave a special visit to the GMIT campus,TECH-IT2k22 on 16th augest,2022 -GMIT an RIPS, DKB Memorial Footbal tournament in every year.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is 10th and 12th pass with science background,minimum number required in your 10th and 12th bord exam 60 percentag. I was found the application form,application fess and application dates from online plateform like collegedunia. Resevation is availavel but i admited through wbjee exam. In this college TFW seats availavel.

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

Our college campus is fully green campus. All teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. All the classrooms are well groomed. Library is very good. All types of books are available in our library. Semester fees is comfortable for all types of students. Admission process is very easy. All types of scholarship are available for all students. Laboratories are decorated by updated instruments. Gym is available in our college. Playground is very clean. Many outdoor games (like: Football, Cricket, badminton etc.) and indoor games (like: chess, caram etc.) are available in our campus. 24Ã—7 hours electricity and water are available.
