Course Curriculum Overview
Among institute I got selected i.e., Nirma, IMT-H, IFMR. I selected Nirma because of its brand value and distinctly good ROI, which makes it unique among its peer. There is a trimester exams every 4 months, which had pretty normal difficulty level. The teaching method is old school conceptual although there are case studies, but they don't contribute a lot
Internships Opportunities
This might be specific to 2024 but there was high shortage of internship in the campus, although there were big names that came to campus like jp morgon but still a notion of crisis was there among the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The ROI is pretty good as the fees for us where ?150k, which also include commodation and fooding, as it is situated in outskirts of ahemdabad there might be few difficulties for commutes and there was a scholarship scheme for top 75 students. Getting a loan was very convinient as nirma comes under sbi's scholar list.
Campus Life
The campus has area of 115 acre, there is every possible facilities available in the campus and with connection of other institutes of Nirma there huge variety of material available. All the basic amenities are available in the campus.
Hostel Facilities
I have apted for non AC accomdation and it has all the basic amenities available in the hostel like hot water during winters, meal was also provided , the quality of food is acceptable for being mess.
Admission
The admission process of nirma was pretty straight forward there was cutoff of around 80%ile in CAT and then there was a shortlist, after which we needed to go through interview and extempore round. The application costed around 2000 and as I was in waitlist I was required to pay 25k to reserve my waitlist.
Interview Experience
Extempore Topic for me was inflation, the interview process was also pretty standard with three panelist, the criteria for admission was not disclosed but above 60% in 10th, 12th and graduation is advisable.
