Life at National Forensic Sciences University

As this is a specialized University under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. So studying from this prestigious university would definitely help me in achieving my goals in transforming the Justice delivery system specially when dealing with technical subject of Data Science and law. This is a very different course of law and made only for those students who have keen interest in Science[Technology] and Justice system making this course different from other traditional law courses. The faculties are expert in their subjects and qualified with Doctorate degree. The term exams are always on time and easy to pass when perfectly prepared.

There is a internship assistance cell responsible for providing internships to students as per their current year in NGOs, Law firms, Commissions etc for gaining the practical exposure and making connections.

As the program of B.sc.LL.B(Hons) was started in 2021 so the current batch of B.sc.LL.B(Hons) is going on. So after fourth year they will be eligible for placements particularly in legal firms with technical background. But in other courses like Cyber Security the companies for placement include KPMG, Deloitte, Microsoft, EY etc.

The fee per semester is ?65,000 which is suitable as per the given facilities and infrastructure of university. Scholarship is available for Masters program by university and university also conducts placement drives for students which include top most companies. The intership assistance cell is responsible to provide mandatory internships to their students.

The campus life is full of excitement as there are clubs and societies where one can take interest like Literary debate society, Social media clubs, Legal aid Society, Center for Innocence etc. There is a Central Library for the students of all courses where there are many books and journals available in different subjects. The classrooms are high-tech with security cameras and fire alarms and fully air conditioned.

The admission process in National Forensic Sciences University is completely based on entrance exam and in B.sc.LL.B(Hons) course the entrance exam accepted is CLAT for which a merit list will be prepared for admission. The application form can be accessed from University official website nfsu.ac.in . After which an application fee would be required for admission process. Some seats are reserved as per their mentioned categories. For admission in B.sc.LL.B(Hons) course the applicant must be from Mathematics background in class 11th and 12th.
