Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties are very talented, and they encourage students to reach their aim and achieve their goals. Yes, this is a field where our college needs to improve a lot. It does not provide any internship opportunities. A student can do an internship on their own, as the college will not help in that regard at all. Students become eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester, where companies choose candidates based on their eligibility for the job and skills. The placements are excellent.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 68000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement percentage is 90% in electronics. The placement is good and having good cgpa the opportunity increased. Many students apply for gate also. And they have good carrier in PSU and apply for mtech

Fees and Financial Aid

One can't choose the course because whatever you get in the counseling you need to pursue on that course only. Since mechanical engineering is in demand so i choose this course to pursue my batchelor. All the faculty members are PhD qualified and we'll behaved. The teaching method is so good .there are two semester exams are conducted in. Every year two semester exams are conducted and in every semester 2 internals are conducted.

Campus Life

College campus and is greenery envurinment Library and its support system and ventilated rooms with ac Hostels are well hygienated and peaceful. It is very peaceful place. There are many clubs like dance club,audio visual club, drawing club etc

Hostel Facilities

The meal quality and the menu in girls hostel The faculty members are really good and highly educated Our college supports co curricular activities and many sports.It also provides the freeze water and clean water.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

Since I have a strong academic background in mathematics so i pursue this course and i have a keen interest in mathematics since my childhood. The faculty members are very knowledgeable and supportive in nature. All the faculty members are phd qualified.The College Campus Is Too Good Since Its Away From City Area..

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
