- In Summers, there are lot of bugs you need to keep away from you hostel rooms.
- The walking distance between each class just makes you exhausted
- Low voltage electric supplies to the hostels which goes out when a heater/cooler is plugged in
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Mechanical Engineering as this has been my dream. A professor easily enagages upto 100-150 students in a single session. However, a student can clear their doubts whenever required as the faculty provide a special timing to meet them personally for any issues in academics. The student who attends the classes regularly and completed the day's work on the same day can enjoy their 4 years here..
Internships Opportunities
There are many top companies like Google, Microsoft, LNT which take nearly half of the students who got placed. There are many projects you can work directly under a professor who can guide you any time throughout your journey in BITS.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for campus placements from second year as there are internship opportunities which offer pre-placements offer to students with skill sets. Almost 70% of the students get placed into to world's largest MNCs and other tech companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Being a private college, BITS does have a high fees. But to overcome this burden many banks offer student loan at a very percent interest rate. It is affordable for a middle class student, but may be a burden for lower middle class students.
Campus Life
The campus life is just another dimension which you have unlocked. There are numerous clubs you can get into based on your interest. From building robots to sending rovers on moon. BITS offers almost everything a student can wish for. The fests also attract India's biggest celebrities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel mess provides a quality good fire atleast 5 days of a week. The other days you can manage in the news of you wish or go to some eateries which are open till midnight. The hostel into which you get is pure luck as you have to draw a chit from a bowl in which there are hostel names written on pieces of paper
Admission
All the details regarding Admission into BITS through BITSAT are provided on the official BITSAT website. There is no reservation benefit for getting into BITS. But in BITS you have various schemes based on your academic performances by which you can avail a scholarship.
