Dislikes

We don't have access to many places in campus.
The course started a little late so we are running behind other colleges.
Hostel facility is not available so we have to live in PGs

Course Curriculum Overview

As this is the first batch I myself don't know much details, but the faculty is good. All faculty members are highly qualified. The con I faced here is that as this is the first time for DU B.Tech the infrastructure is not that well developed.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 432000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here is not that high and also not that low...it's around 2 lac per sem which comparatively higher than other government colleges but less than private colleges...also there is 50% fee reduction for those whose annual family income is low...so according to me its totally worth it.

Campus Life

As this is the first time...we don't have any annual fest or tech fest of any kind. All necessary books are available in the central science library of DU, access to which is free for us. Classrooms are modern with smart board and air conditioning.

Admission

Got admission in this course through my JEE Mains score. There was a separate platform for counselling. It was completely online just had to go for physical verification to confirm my seat. All the process of admission was smooth.

From 6th-7th semester students become eligible for campus placement The placement process starts in July August of the 4th year and continues until March pril Students can apply for internships from the 3rd year, and many companies offer PPO (Pre-Placement Offers) based on internships Some of the top recruiters include Google Microsoft Amazon Adobe Atlassian Apple Deloitte Goldman Sachs Samsung Salesforce Bain & Company Flipkart Myntra (I copy pasted this from college official pdf and from website) Highest is 85+ lpa i guess according to dtu website and some seniors also told me that Overall average package is 15-18 LPA for btech Common roles offered include Software Development Engineer (SDE) Data Scientist -Data Analyst Product Engineer Business Analyst My plans after getting degree is --getting a core placement in oil refinery or oil rig

College review for FOT

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Summary of IIT-D

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

Overview of my College.

I applied for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and central university of Rajasthan(CURAJ) other than delhi university. I got confirmed admissions in all these three universities but I chose to continue with delhi university and Hansraj College. I didn't got any rejectiona from any toher collegea and universities that I applied for. So it's a good thing. The admission process to get in here is as follows:- 1) Clear the cutoff for you course and university by giving the CUET-UG exams for undergraduate courses. 2) Go into the counselling process and select your desired courses and college or university. 3) Depending on your socre that you obtained in CUET UG exam you will be allotted the college and course. If you wish to change you can opt for the counselling in the other rounds as well. As there are multiple rounds of counselling are conducted. My overall admission process was vey smooth without any major issues. Just trust yourself and you will land in best colleges of the country....Read More
