Course Curriculum Overview
Subjects choice is vast with a good variety to choose from along with the option of multiple specializations in the fields of IT, Finance, Trade, Strategy, Marketing, and Operations. Each consists of 6 subjects, and 3 of a field make a minor. Each subject has 60 marks internally and 40 marks on the final exam.
Placement Experience
The placements are great even in the current economy the college has been able to bring many prestigious companies for the students and they also provide the proper material for specific industries and domains along with GD PI prep.
Fees and Financial Aid
On the more affordable side when it comes to good MBA colleges due to their exceptional ROI there are many scholarships available plus all books are provided without any extra cost and the fees also include the hostel and mess charges.
Campus Life
The campus life is good but also very busy. The first trimester will be the most challenging and you will be tested like never before in those first 3 months. But after that things slow down a bit and you are also used to the schedule. There are many student-driven programs like sports fest, the college cultural fest, case comps, and much more to keep you engaged.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are as good as you can expect from a college nothing too good or too bad that you haven't seen before. The food quality is definitely better than most colleges. But there are only 3 sharing rooms, no single or double rooms.
Admission
Exam Process- Apply for the Exam of IIFT. The exam has 4 sections English, Quants, Reasoning, GK. Cutoff- above 95 overall. Relatively easy to clear sectional cutoffs than Cat. Then comes the PI. It also has an extempore at the start. Difficulty of interview dependent on your profile.
Interview Experience
Interviews are conducted as the final round of the admission process. And would require extensive knowledge of all that can be asked from you based on your profile. But before that, there will be a form that has to be submitted that has some questions so the institute can get the broad strokes of who they are going to interview containing questions like why MBA, future goals, etc.
