I chose iift because of the following reasons 1. It's one of the oldest Bschools in the country which makes it having one of the strongest alumni bases. 2. The location of the college is actually great , surrounded by Sanjayvan and also in the heart of delhi. 3.It was very near to my home to commute was very easy 4.The fees is a bit less as compared to top IIM's. 5. Placements are at par with some of the old IIM's. 6. The roles for finance and are at par with IIM Calcutta. I applied to mdi, wasn't able to make it there because this year they had some mishap in the admission process in which they gave admission to more number of students than the number of seats available. I got admission via IIFT's exam where for general the cutoff was somewhere around 98%ile for Delhi Campus and 96%ile for Kolkata Campus. The application was available on IIFT's official website which remains active for around 4 months i.e from Sep to Dec. It costs around 3K for general students opting for MBA-IB. Eligibility - Minimum 3 years UG program from a recognized institute with 50% minimum score.
