Likes

Curriculum is designed in such a way to equip us with the overall knowledge of all the important subject matters.
Social life is amazing here. I have got bunch of friends here. We party a lot.
Faculty are very supportive and there is an open end policy at every level of the institute.

Dislikes

Strict rules regarding placement and summer internship activities
Campus is very beautiful but small that we often face problem for the space

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is up to date and I feel it's very much related to the practical world. I can clearly see the applications of the concepts taught during the course. The faculty goes to every extent to teach us in the best manner. Quizzes, Group Assignments, individual assignments, class activities, etc every thing is taken into consideration to make the course more interesting and impactful.

Internships Opportunities

We have various live projects and summer internship opportunities. Various companies with different profiles visited the campus. 80 percent of the batch has successfully managed to get an internship till now.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for the placements from the second year. Companies keeps on coming through out the year. Last year the highest package was of 52 Lakhs and the average package was of 17 Lakhs. Most of the profiles are being offered by different companies. We have a rate of 100 percent placements. I plan to see myself at a managerial role in my dream company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is around 20 lakhs for the entire course. EWS students get the complete fees scholarship except for the hostel charges. Hostel costs around 5 lakhs for two years. On the basis of merit also, scholarships are being provided on tution fees.

Campus Life

Life is amazing at IMI. I am a member of Culture club and we organise various functions on every special occasion. There are various other clubs and societies too including dance, music, drama and sports clubs. We will soon be coming up with our Annual Management Fest Kritva 2024 and being the part of organising committee gives me immense confidence. There are a huge variety of books and e learning material available to us. Classes are also well equipped with smart leds. Overall it's a great life here.

Admission

I took CAT and XAT. Minimum percentile requirements CAT: 95 XAT: 90 After the entrance exams I had a personal interview and the aggregate scores of both the exam and pi including other factors like education background, marks in 10th, 12th and grad, gender were taken into consideration to reach the final decision.

Interview Experience

3.5

I faced a personal interview for the admission. It consisted of various general knowledge question, hr cousins, case based questions, questions from CV, about the current economy situation of the world. Cross questioning were done from the answers provided by me.

LBSIM Delhi : An Institution with Value-driven Management with Elite Finance Infrastructure

Likes

Academic and Tech Facilities : Great Academic Rigor.
Faculty & Placement Strength : Faculty has vast industry experience. Corporate Relations are exceptionally strong.

Dislikes

Campus Size : In the heart of the country, a traditional open-air B-school experience is difficult.
Batch Intake : The intake for flagship PGDM course is high which causes high competition among students for summer internships and placements.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 4th trimester onwards. The placement rate is consistently nearby 100%. Prominent recruiters include Delloite, KPMG, Pwc, EY and market firms like Motilal Oswal, Oxane and ICICI Bank. The average domestic package stands comfortably around 12,40,000 and the top 10% of the batch secures close to over 16,00,000. Prominent roles offered include - Management Trainee, Financial Analyst and Consulting roles for finance students. My immediate plans after the degree is to secure a core placement in an Equity Research Role.

The curriculum is regularly updated to align with current industry trends and include case studies, life, project, lectures, workshop and exponential learning. These initiative help student build practical skills and prepare them for corporate roles.

Dislikes

Campus is relatively small compared to many other premier school limiting availability of large opening space and sports facilities
Some administrative processes can be time consuming especially during admissions and fees related formalities.
The academic schedule is quite rigorous , with frequent assignment presentations,quizzes and project making time management challenging.

Placement Experience:

The pavement opportunities at lbsim are good especially for tier 2 b school the institute has a dedicated placement cell that actively works with recruiters and supports student throughout the placement process. Regular training sessions on aptitude resume building group discussions mock interviews and communications skills help students prepare for campus recruitment.

Industry oriented PGDM with good learning and placement opportunities

Placement Experience:

LBSIM offers good placement support with students becoming eligible after the summer internship. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG,EY ,Infosys, Accenture, ICICI Bank and Wipro visit the campus. The average package is around 12 to 13 lakhs per annum with higher offer offers for top performers, placement support, industry, exposure and alumni guidance are strong. I plan to pursue a business analytics role after completing the course.

Faculty , grid and the administration is really good and supportive . There will be adequate amount of exposure to certain non academic activities too .Campus is also decently spacious and overall canteen and class infrastructure is also good .

Placement Experience:

The placements here is decent , good companies visit here , also the college is now been accredited with AACSB , which will help making the foundation stronger . Highest was 24 lakh , and average of the batch is 12.3 lakh . Almost 90% students get placed at decent position , while the placement cell also support each and every person with their utmost guidance .

Why i chose LBSIM for my PGDM

faculty is knowledgeable and is very well versed with the industy
this college is AACSB accredited. only 30 colleges in India have that
Learning resource center is amazing with a great variety of books

Dislikes

Campus size is small but competitors have a similar campus size
Sports facility is limited to TT, badminton court

MBA curriculum is well structured and covers the core areas of management including marketing, finance, operations, HR, analytics and AI. Courses are industry oriented, have a case based learning approach and institute's focus on practical management skills rather than only theoritical concepts.

The placements have been getting with every year. Last year, the highest package that any student from this college was able to achieve was about 24,00,000Rs. Students are eligible for the placements by the start of fourth or fifth semester
