SRM is widely known for it's engineering faculty and the way they mould and make things easier to understand for an individual, teaching techniques of the faculties here in SRM is top notch, they even provide valuable notes and important tips which will eventually lead us gaining good scores in our, tests, practicals and in end sem examinations

SRM provide wide range of internship opportunities to it's students and constantly ask them to score good and even it provides Student Abroad Program (SAP) to students who scores good cgpa, and also provide concession in fees too

Fees is a bit high as it's a private college but on comparison with others it stands differently, which is eventually luminated in their placement records when get on to contrast with other private colleges in south India

Campus life here in SRM is pretty chill, professors and warden are very friendly among the students, and the students can get themselves indulged in different clubs according to their interests, SRM believes to give students all sort of comfort so that they can concentrate on their studies and that's why we have distinct buildings for each department with spacious lecture halls

Hostels here at SRM are really good with different price range but whatever hostel you choose you'll experience the next level hospitality from the hostel committee, as you get spacious rooms with double and triple sharing with ac & non-ac options too

Admission

SRM basically conducts an entrance exam known as SRMJEEE, which involves general PCM & aptitude questions, moreover there's a merit list too, rank holders b/w 1-100 will be given a concession for their tution and hostel fees and the rank holders b/w 101-500 will be given a concession for their tution fees

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

I chose this because of good placements and they have average of 7.5 lakhs.Compare to vit vellor or any other collage srm has good placements and good way to explore.To get admission we need to pay 10000 rs to lock the seat and then aftee filling the forms we need to pay hostel and collage fees....Read More

Chose SRM University mainly because of its strong reputation in engineering, excellent infray,and placement opportunities.I has applied to a few other private universities like VIT Vellore and Manipal University.while I did get a confirmed admission from one,i felt SRM had a more vibrant campus life,better connectivity to Chennai City, and a strong alumni network. I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
