Remarks

The admission process at west bengal state was completely genuine and systematic.there were no indulgence of bribing from college unions end. The staff were very humble and the procedure of admission is based on list and as well as direct admission based on stream and department of respective subjects. As I got admitted to bsc economics department ,hod himself connected with all the students who were enlisted for the admission curriculum and help them individually by guiding them the process.the senior were very co-operative and humble.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

the teachers are phd holders with a teaching experience of 10 to 12 years. they are extremely humble and knowledgable. tje examination pattern is based on semester as the coarse work is completed with in 2 years of the respective subject you to pursue masters on. the difficulty increases on irregularity of the classes but unless a student is regular in classes and attend classes on focus on the theories taught in class . the student aint feel difficulties to score good cgpa in the semesters. there are all total 4 semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees is barely minimum as it is under taken by state government .there are different financial facilities and scholarship is provided to the students of different caste system . apart from this the student who are abla to score good percentage get scholar ship to complete there education at minimum cost.campusing is provided vto students after as the university tie up with several companies and sectors.

Campus Life

4.5

economia is the fest we celebrated and apart from this fest we also celebrate our cultural fest including sports day is celebrated on 17 th of jan every year. several clubs for indoor and outdoor games are there including transport facility for student , where as the class rooms are well equiped with computer on each desk of student for learning the way out of research and can complete their internals in there class room.

Other Applied Colleges

Surendra nath college | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)

The fees structure and interference of union bribing for reserving seat for admission was the reason I back off

Course Curriculum Overview:

If the student is quite serious to go for a PHD after completing his MSc from here, I would say it is a great choice but if one is looking for the option to explore some other field after completing his MSc from here, I wouldn't recommend of getting a degree from here.

The syllabus structure of KU is totally based on the IIT JAM exam syllabus. That helps students very much in future preparation for Ph.D. Also KU offers special classes for competitive exam preparations including SPSC or UPSC as well as helps to get placements in the private sector. And professors are very highly qualified they can teach this syllabus in depth and with care

Course Curriculum Overview:

The program curriculum encompasses Biological Sciences as well as it could have been. It is very elaborate comprising every branches from Instrumemtation and Methodologies to Cell Biology, Genetics or Molecular Biology for that matter. You are ought to have three theory papers and two practical and Grand VIVA papers each semester with a total of 4 semesters over two years. In the last semester, you need to prepare your dissertation. The papers include all the basic concepts and their applications and demands hard hours. I believe the syllabus can be relaxed a bit and the number of papers per term expanded and compartmentalised so as to reduce the load of individual papers. All the faculties are very supportive and Friendly and appreciate doubts and queries always.
