Amity University Noida, Full Details in One Review

This course has the best placements all around the India. Faculty:Student ratio is not so good it can be improved. Teachers are highly qualified and uses different types of way to teach like presentations, visual labs and many things. Exams are not so difficult to pass but no that easy as well, a lot of students gets back in their semester exams. You just need to study properly during the exam time and you are good to go

There visit a lot of companies for internships ftom TCS and HCL to Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Goldman Sachs with stipend varying and there is a term paper after every year called NTCC in which you have to make a research project and then the exam will be taken there as well

Students start sitting in placements from the end of 5th sem or maybe 6th sem onwards. Multiple company and tech giants visit the campus every year with packages upto 61 LPA. Average package offered being 6 LPA and for CSE branch it is around 8-10 LPA. Almost all the students who apply for placements get placed.

The current fees is 210000 per semester and it increases by 10k every year. There are a lot of scholarship opportunities which can be checked on their website. Companies with all kinds of packages do visit the campus, its on the student which company can he/she crack and which not.

Campus life at Amity is awesome. There are fests like AYF, Freshers and many more. There are Hackathons like Cybercup which all are good. Library is huge and very modern with all kinds of books present there with a lot of computer systems present for the students to work on. Classrooms have recliner seats, with ACs in all classes and projectors as well. All types of sports and extra curricular activities are there and multiple clubs and students chapters are running in the campus you can join any of them.

Hostels there are good too but comes up with a lot of restrictions. You will be getting a bed with matress and pillow, an almirah, a study table and chair, rest you have to bring by your own. There are two types of hostel AC and Non AC so you have to decide between one. In AC hostel you get private room but in Non AC you will be sharing your room with 1 or maybe 2 others. There are a lot of cafeterias in Amity but no mess are there you will need to buy food everyday but the quality is better than a lot many other colleges. The fee for Ac hostel is 1.6 lakhs and for non ac it is 1 lakh.

Any student who have completed their XII from science stream can apply for it. The student should have a minimum of 60% marks in PCM. The application form can be found on the college website itself and can be filled from there. There is no as such cutoff and one can easily get admission.
