The Grounds Of the Campus and the infrastructure of the colleges
The Teaching staff is so polite and friendly in nature
The canteens are cheap and provide good quality of food

Dislikes

The Lack Of Job providing students are not provided jobs
College needs more seats our college conducted exams in tents for students this semester
Dedication of teachers to teach . teachers are not willing to pay attention to each student and the classes are unscheduled

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because i am interested in polical science and physical education because i want to establish my future in physical education field and want i to serve my nation through civil services exams are conducted twice a year

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 8400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is average and needs an upgrade and placement cells should be provided more often and fees for reservation classes(those who come from poor background) should be decreased and more jobs should be provided to the students

Campus Life

Fests are conducted twice or thrice a year when i was a fresher there were no freshers party like scenario in our college. We have library but there is a difference between the morning library and evening library morning one is well designed and with good infrastructure. Sports are conducted fairly

Admission

CUET entrance exam was conducted and courses were provided on basis of marks scored as i was a schedule caste i was availed by reservation scheme and i got seat in motilal nehru college. Improvement can be done in procedure by increasing the number of seats in colleges

DSC is a decent college!

Placement Experience:

DSC placements are not that great as around 30-40% students are placed and that is how it is here. Most students of Political Science go for higher studies or get job opportunities in political consultancy or journalism.

For placements, there's not much on campus placement programs. Our placement cells are active though. Time to time they keep us posted about the upcoming internship or job opportunities and even invite various organisations for placements. You can even look for off campus placement programs and teachers are very helpful in this. They even offer letter of recommendation for the internship opportunities upon request.

Gargi : A home to a stranger

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love the course I have opted for in the College. I had so much interest in literature since I was in school, hence made the decision to opt for English Honours in my undergraduate degree. The curriculum of this particular course is easy to get, teaches practical knowledge. We have Internal Assesment and Continuous Assessment before theory exams. In continuous assessment, we are given some topic to make presentation or a group discussion from our sense of knowledge and experience. Speaking up in a crowd and in front of the whole class gives the practical knowledge of being there, present, confidence and speak up your thoughts I would love if we can also watch theatre within the curriculum as we read various plays but watching and analysing them would be great. Mostly the exams are held in December and May, they are moderate level of examination and I have found absolute no difficulty sitting in them and writing. We get 3 hours for the core subjects, and 1 hour for our respective VACs, SECs and AECs.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Brilliant

In CUET, I have less marks but I preferred more college but firstly I get PGDAV college but I don't like that college so I choose Motilal Nehru college. No, i don't preferred other colleges but only Delhi University colleges. From CUET exam, the process of admission is going on.
