- Beautiful campus and excellent campus life with many good batchmates to enjoy with
- Library and faculty infrastructure is very good, college has a very huge library
- The hostels infrastructure and the food is very good here in every Hostel anf the night life is also good inside the campus
Dislikes
- the professors are too much strict for discipline and studies
- due to large campus area, academic buildings are far away from hostels
- the students male female ratio is very poor especially in all IIT colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty good like we get fair enough time apart from studies and I chose this course coz it has a high demand in the energy sector in govt sector The faculty student ratio is nearly 40 students per teacher whicg is good for right guidance by teacher individually, and the professors here are really good at teaching and most of them are PHD holders
Internships Opportunities
as such, the college doesn't provide enough internship opportunities to students, instead students have to make their own way to get internship opportunities for various roles like Software developer, Frontend developer, backend developer, etc. but the stipend they provide to students is very good, like 20k to 50k monthly
Placement Experience
Form 6th semester, tye students become eligible for college placements and there are a large number of companies that visit our college including Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta etc. the average package varies around 15 to 18 lpa every year while the highest package goes upto 1cr+ for some students, but most of tge students gets placed by the mid of 8th semester
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't experience any such unnecessary price hike in college fees or hostel fees and I didn't opt for any scholarship neither any financial assistance coz I don't need it. The campus doesn't provide any jobs inside but companies come to our college for hiring freshers
Campus Life
IIT Bombay is obviously known for many fests held throughout the year like MOOD Indigo, Tech Fest, etc. The social life pretty good here, and nice student environment and especially during fest when students from various college come here. IIT-B has excellent facilities for sports like cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, and other indoor sports too and the overall infrastructure is also very good
Admission
The admission process was done through JOSAA counselling on the basis of JEE Advanced Score in which the college that was shortlisted for me was this college and branch Energy Engineering which had cut off near to 5000 AIR
