Detailed overview form a student to you ;)

The college is affiliated under Calcutta University and follows CBCS Pattern of Course structure. I choose this particular course as I was interested in it. It had 5 subject at the first sem Accountancy, business law, microeconomics&stats , English, Principle of management. The exam's are taken once every 6 months one is in the college which is known as Internal and second is taken at off campus at another college. The classes here are not very regular most of the time teachers don't show up for the class. There are around 300 students in my cource. And I may say inspite of teachers not taking regular classes, exams are not that though one can't pass it, it just take a month or two to complete entire slybuss.

The frees here is very nominal, for the which I opted it only costed me ?2205 for the First semester. One can easily get scholarship if he/she is form BPL class and have scored more than 60% in last qualifying exam. The scholarship is named as SVMCM scholarship. Aslo for girls there is another scholarship named as Kanyshsree.

Now this comes the part where you have to manage with things , cause the campus is not upto the mark the classrooms are in bad conditions , Projectors don't work, desk are not cleans and many other minor things. Also here you won't see many college fest and all, infact we didn't even got freshers so yeah you can assume. There's an libarary which is quite good most of the books related to courses are available there. There is an annual sports day every year in the college which is done at the nearby ground.

The addmission process is quite easy I may say. After your 12th results are out one have to fill up the addmission form at the college website and select the Desired cource of study, and then submit. After few week college starts publishing merrit list of the candidates who can take addmission in the college, it is published according in a sequence like highest to lowest marks in 12th board exam . Once the name is in the list you have to login to your applicant page and pay the college fees and it's done.
