- The hostels are very nice The facilities are damn nice, and the cleanliness at the hostel is quite nice.

- The indoor gyms, swimming pool, snooker, and tennis facilities are very good tough they are paid it is worth it
Dislikes
- About my disliking the mess food could get better it takes a while to adjust with the mess food
- We cant leave our hostel block after 9 o'clock at night and we need to take to many permissions for a night out, the hostel blocks are very strict for that case
- The campus at peak times get crowded with students taking in mind the 40000 student the campus could have been bigger.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had an interest in Electrical machines, which made me take B.Tech Electronics and Instrumentation in VIT. The faculty student ratio is at max 70:1 otherwise it's mostly 40-45:1 All the faculties are atleast PhD qualified and most of them have a vast teaching experience in their respective subject. Talking about the exam there are two internal assessments, namely CAT 1 , CAT 2, and a final assessment named FAT. Talking about the difficulty of the assessment CAT 1 is very easy, whereas CAT 2 being open book is quite difficult. And FAT is moderate to hard.
Placement Experience
To be eligible for placement you need to maintain atleast 7.5 CGPA otherwise it's not allowed to sit in the placement. Recruiting Companies like Aspire, Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, VISA, PayPal, Myntra, TCS etc comes for recruitment. The highest package offered this year was 1.2 Cr annually.
Fees and Financial Aid
Talking about the fees structure it depends upon the category in which you have taken admission in which ranges from 176000 to 476000 per year You 75% scholarship if you have VITEEE rank under 100, and a 50% scholarship for VIT rank under 500.
Campus Life
VIT hosts cultural events, festivals, and academic conferences, which provides students opportunities to engage in social activities. Mainly the biggest fest are Gravitas which is held in every year near September and Riveira which is held in February end every year. There are many clubs and chapter you just name it and its there. The food here is decent any one coming from any other part of the country would take a while to adjust with the food. The hostels are damn good I can vouch on that to be particular its kept damn clean. The fees varies with the kind of room you have opted (AC/non-AC,) (2-bed,3-bed,4-bed,6-bed,8-bed),(deluxe,non-deluxe)
Hostel Facilities
Since I have opted for VIT Hostel I can tell you about it that its quite nice. there is 24/7 water supply, 24/7 electricity supply. The mess food is average takes a while to adjust with the food but once you get adjusted with the food its quite nice.
Admission
Yeah you need to give entrance test called VITEEE. To find the application form you directly search VITEEE on the web. The admission process is quite nice but if the dates of admission are gone you wont be able to take the admission so one should have a keen eye on the admission dates.
