What Students Say

Likes

Faculties are well qualified and too good. Syllabus is also short.
Course is affordable. You can also get scholarship by government
There are 2 big ground on campus and you can get different courts for sports like badminton court

Dislikes

There is a moot court in department but you will not get much chances for moot court competition
You will not get any work on time you have to struggle for everywork
Library has enough books but they all are too old

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to join law field from start that's why I chose this course. Faculty is too good and there is a faculty in every 20 students. All teachers have qualification of PhD and exams are also held timely in every 6 months and it is not much difficult to pass those examination

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 21000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are not much intership opportunities given by college but you can do individual intership by yourself and department will grant you permission for it easily and there are project opportunities like you will get many good seminars and many feild works also

Fees and Financial Aid

There had been 20000 fees and 1000 coussion money means total 21000 since last year but from this year it is 25000 fees without coussion money. And you can also get scholarship from different government schemes according to your eligibility on them but college will not provide you campus jobs on this course

Campus Life

There are many annual fests and tech fest organised by individual departments and by University also. There is always a sports fest every year at November or December. There is a library in every department as well there is a central library in University where you can get every books and facilities of studing there.

Admission

Firstly you have to qualify in CUET exam. This clg only want legal studies subject and there is no other criteria. After result of CUET you have to fill registration from on official website of Barkatullah University then you will get marit list

A check into reality.

Placement Experience:

From last year the students are eligible for the campus placements . Most famous named companies are there Accenture, Axis Bank , Infosys, HCL technologies, wipro etc. Highest salary package is 72 LPA this top package has been secured by high performing student Average package is 5.30 LPA. 70 to 77 % of students placement My plans are that I will work under some senior advocates initially and prepare for PCSJ exam.

NMIMS SOL don't have a central placements system as here it's more like the firm's operating in MP or the top highcourt law firms of Bhopal High Court are the ones who come for recruitment. Due to NMIMS tag we get placements not many but yes still enough to ensure that majority of students are placed from here.

Our university is the largest central university of Central India!

Placement Experience:

Very few as Sagar firstly is a small city and then inviting corporate especially for law is tough. Some have started coming but still put batch size is of around 400 students but only 40 odd were placed from university.

NMIMS SOL is outstanding!

Placement Experience:

At our campus, students stands eligible in the final year or rather a year before the final year. Most students already have placements in hand if they have done meaningful intenrships. As of now the average for law school NMIMS is 5-6 LPA and I know it's low compared to other branches of NMIMS.

The syllabus is not updated often. We are only taught theories and not give the opportunity to have a practical experience. It is only in 5th year that we get skme excursions and moot courts. Other than that only subjects are taught for the sake of completing syllabus. Co-curricular activities are very rare
