Likes

Faculties memembers are friendly and well educated.
The college sign an MOU with Punjab national bank that helps to get educational loan very easily.

Dislikes

The college continue classes also on holidays as well .
We are not benefitted with private scholarship given by the private companies.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this because course because the course and curriculum are mainly focused on the entrance exam to get best collage for higher study like IIT. Exam were moderate level . I got cleared my first semester easily. Faculty members are decent and well educated.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I had not done any internship program till now that's why I had no experienced about it and the reason, I am in first semester. But from the senior I listened that our collage provides internship. The general stipend is around 8k to 15k per month.

Placement Experience

GITA provides a well decent placement with good package. They provide students campus and off campus placements . Almost around 75% are placed in different companies all over India. I am in semester 1 so I did not know much more about placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is around 1.15 lakh per year in CSE IOT . And course fee varies for different courses . The hostel fee is 65000 which is affordable as compared to other colleges in orrisa . There are opportunities of scholarships for eligible students.

Campus Life

The best life were over here . No one will knows how we're thier started and come to an end after 4 years , lots of memories ate trapped in this collage. It's a ragging free campus . Students of first year have many restrictions in this campus .

Hostel Facilities

The hostel life was quit well here in our hostel room we got a fan , study table, a bed etc . The hostel facilities and mess food were good and at reasonable price as compared to any other private collages. The collage have a menu committee to decide menu and usually change when needed.

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Admission

There was no any kind of entrance exam for admission , only you have to appear in jee main examination with good percentile and 12th board percentage were the cretria of admission. My jee mains percentile and Higher secondary percentage were enough to get admission.

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

NOT AN IDEAL COLLEGE BUT DEFINITELY DESCENT

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

The reality of GITA AUTONOMOUS college

There are 3 ways to join this college. 1.JEE councelling If you have the rank in between approximately 350000 to 1500000 , then you can join in this college without any problem. 2.OJEE councelling 3.You can get management seats if you passed in 12th examination with PCM subject selection . But you have to score more than a specific mark in the PCM subjects. You can apply to get admission in this college by Jossa councelling (jee) website and ojee councelling website. If you want to join by jossa councelling then you have to fill up the form by asked documents and 10000 councelling fees. Admission process is quite easy but there is also an another process in which you just have to contact the college admission department and you have to give 20000 and the college go through every process of the admission by themselves.
