Chandigarh University: Pros & cons

I choose the CSE because placement of this university is quite good ... This university providing better opportunities.... .Ratio of students and faculty is good ....only 75 students are in one section...70% faculty are well qualified but few faculty members are below than average ...means they are not suited as faculty of University

University will provides you internship from 3rd year onwards.. Many companies will visit here for internship like IBM ties up with the university for these purposes. But students have to prove themselves as compitition is very high here

This university provides many opportunities regarding placement but compitition is very high here ... Average package is around 10 lakh and highest package is around 54 lakh . TCS Wipro IBM and around 900 companies visit here for placement. 90% of students get placed here.

Fees structure is quite high .. 120000 per semester for BE CSE general and if you want to do specialization than fees is around 145000 per semester . But University will provide u scholarship which students have to maintain by scoring 7.5 CGPA in 1 St year and continue it further... Students will get scholarship through CUCET exam .. amount will depend on scores of the exam.... University will provide placement training from 3rd year and give opportunities for preparation of higher examination.

Campus is very big and beautiful. One can live a joyful college life here .. there are many cultural fest happen through out the year ..There is one library available in each building of the university.. there many clubs to enhance talent like NSS ,NCC..etc

There are many boys and girls hostel inside as well as outside the campus... 4 seater ,3 seater ,5 seater available here . Rooms are quite big in 5 seaters . 4 time meal provided in the mess with different menu ... Some day food are good and someday average. One can register for hostel through online after registration of University.. many pg are also available outside the university

There is only one way to join the college that is entrance exam of the university itself CUCET. Eligibility for admission is to score 60% in pcm for BE CSE . Application form is available in the website of Chandigarh University... application fees is around 1000 rupees but University will provide 50% discount in many cases....Date for admission form will be open around May and will held in three phases .....
