Course Curriculum Overview

I chose to persue a Bachelor's in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning due to my long-standing interest in the field and its current prominence, offering vast opportunities for future growth and impact. Most of the faculties in my college are PhD or pursuing PhD all are intelligent and very supportive.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for Third year students is 125000. Other than that if you are taking bus facility from college then the fees is different for bus according to location which is costly. For open category students there are EBC (Economic Backward Class) Scholarship benefit of this scheme we took through Chhatrapati Sahu Maharaj Scholarship scheme in which tution fees get deducted. College also gives high package placements in campus

Campus Life

The campus is quite decent, it has a library, group big enough to play cricket and football both simultaneously and a volleyball space with temple inside the campus and the canteen is quite big. There are many stuent council which arranges all the sports and cultural activites in college.

Admission

I am a DSE(Direct Second Year) student and i have completed my diploma in I.T(Information Technology). I got in through the CAP round. The majority of students got in through the CAP. The elegibility of the course is that you should have cleared your Diploma (all 6 semester). I got the details to fill forms and dates through government official website for CAP round and announcement of CAP. As i come under open caste category so i didn't come under any reservation benefits but for students like me can fill EBC scholarship form.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. Nice curriculum in my cource in first year 6 subject are there which are maths chemistry physical engineering drawing and mining geology classes and approx length of each class is 55 min which is nice

College with Dream Life

I chose this college because of the course - AiMl. Not much colleges were offering this branch and also this college had a lower bracket of percentile too.
