What Students Say
Likes
- the thing i most like about my college is the huge infrastructure which you could barely get in any colleges in mumbai
- the use of technology throughout the campus
- i really like the support from the hod's for sports especially for volleyball
Dislikes
- the poor way of teaching and the assignments which are nothing but just a pile of waste
- the fake promises they give you at the start of the year of your admission
- poor ground maintainence and no new syllabus or anything
Course Curriculum Overview
the course curriculum is well structured with a mix of theoretical and practical exposures but it is really outdated as every institutes in india the subject are maths python data structures java machine learning ucoe mostly promotes coding contests hackathons which helps students build problem solving skills areas to improve should definetely be the outdated resoursces and lack of interdisciplinary integration
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee structure for aiml course at this college is at moderate pricing when compared to other private engineering colleges in the mumbai region the fees i paid was 1.17lakhs which is fair for ai course
Campus Life
campus life at ucoe strikes a good ballance between academics and social engagement. the student crowd is diverse but tight nit so its easy to make friends and find your group people are mostly chill and helpfull espcially the seniors when you share similar academics
Admission
when i was applying for engineering colleges, i focused on a few factors: the course curriculum , placement, infrastructure low percentile requirement and college reputation. among the options i this college stood out for the a variety of reasons .
Faculty
the faculty to student relationship is quite friendly as they will help you anytime except lunch ofcourse my fav faculty has to be aniket patil sir he is like the perfect teacher you could get though really strict but he will make sure his every student understands the concepts there are exactly three exams every semester of the course of 8 sems first two are internal assesment tests which are calculated as average of 20+20 marks in your scorecard and the final exam is end sem of 80 marks or 50 marks depending on the subject
Night Life
since there is no hostel most students live in pg theres alot of cricket in the corridor and binge watching sessions in the ayesha compound near the college which is somewhat an hostel of our colllege with alot of people similiar to you
