Remarks

The only discomfort affected is the lack of space .The college situated in the heart of West hill town .So there is no way for the expanding of land area.

Entrance Preview

I attended the kerala entrance exam (KEAM) got my college..I selected my source since i am interesed in my subject.i.e,chemical engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is actually a good one.there are lot of possibilities for research works.The syllabus is based on latest and modern engineering technology. With its balance between studies and fun, it's the ideal college experience you could ever hope for.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides internship only in every year.But internship stipend will only be provided in the last year Or,We have to find our own intership from outside

Placement Experience

In this college have comparatively less placement and job opportunities.We had an active placement cell which were coordinated and run by the students majorly. The major companies from all sector IT, automobile, oil, chemical etc visited our college.

College Events

The college is active in terms of cultural as well as technical events. The technical fest of our college is 'LAKSHYA' it include various technical and cultural events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a government college the fees is affordable.it cost around ₹8000 per annum.In addition the Central and state government provide various scholarships.

Hostel Facilities

Now Hostel facility is available only for girls.But there are plenty private hostels with all facilities and comforts, available around the college.

Faculty

The institution consist of excellent faculties .All faculty members are having M Tech/Ph.D in relevant subjects and they are friendly towards students.

LIfe and Learning at PDEU

Placement Experience:

At PDEU, students become eligible after the 7th semester for the campus placements . Many top companies like IBM, Cognizant, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , TCS and many more. the highest package that went in my batch was 13-20 LPA whereas the average package is 7-8 LPA as per the company and profiles. Mostly 80-85%of the students got placed every year. Some students also goes for the higher studies or for their family bussiness.My plan after getting the degree is to join a AI/IoT company at better package.

College from my perspective

Placement Experience:

My college provide internship and placement from 3rd year of course and student must not have any pending backlog in placement cell. There is many company come for recruitment if i give some name is torrent power, TCS, E infochips, adani power many. The student get highest package is around 20 LPA and the avg package is around 3 4 lpa and around 70 to 80 percent student got placed every year. I also planed same first i want to get placement in any company and then after some time i want to published my startup

Opportunity available in college and lifestyle

GEC Rajkot is one of the best college for electrical branch according to my renk. GEC Rajkot placement is also good. My admission process is as per acpc rank.
