Patna Women's College

This college is good at almost every thing. But the only thing is it is totally a girl's college. We do get every opportunity to show cast ourselves everytime possible

As this is a part of Patna University so we had entrance exam with nominal fee. I cleared the entrance an chose to study B.SC. Here. The forms for entrance are made available online every year

The curriculum is strictly based on the prescribed Syllabus of Patna University. The course content is too lengthy and diversified. Although from the aspect of practical learning it is better suited to us

Internships are provided on small scale factories such as fertiliser production sites or any farming related sectors by the college with a stipend of 5-6k.

The placement opportunities are not that much prominent here but still some companies hire students on adHoc for training purposes

Events are organised on regular basis for keeping the students updated to latest upfronts. Last time it was Botanical Culture organised

The fee is too low here as it is a government college. We pay something around 15000/-every year as tuition fee. The hostel fee is separate

A scholarship plan is for the students who give good performance in academics and sports

Extra curricular activities like Talent Hunt, Treasure hunt etc are organised periodically

Hostel facilities are provided on extra fee payment. I have never been there as I am local of Patna but still students have positive opinion on it

Alumni interaction seminars were never organised. Graduates from this college were many but scarcely anyone comes here for communication.

Exams are conducted on yearly basis. Some internal exams take place periodically

The faculty are mostly from the Patna University or from other reputed institutions. They are having good sense of knowledge in their subjects and most of them are doctorate degree holders
