Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good and the faculty members are very much cooperative. They help us during the whole course with any type of problem. At proper time Exams are conducted and if someone read properly then it is quite natural to pass the examination.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 4500 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees structure for different course is different including library and practical. For zoology hons the fees structure is appropriate and we'll distributed. There are svmcm and nabanna scholarship present. One can apply one of the scholarship and get the needful amount during the course.

Campus Life

The environment in the campus is very good. There is a big ground, lots of big trees. In the ground, sports is organized at some special day and also annual program is arranged by the college. Everything is good and comfortable.

Admission

For eligible criteria, one must pass out science subject with Biology in their 12th exam with at least 55% marks The application form found at the official website of Kazi Nazrul University There is not any reservation benefit available, if someone is economically weak then he/she can apply the half fee or full fee concession The admission process is quite good

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Remarks:

This college still today stands to be among the first choice of every student in the hooghly district and 2nd in the Burdwan University. The only negative part is that this college has a very high political presence in the campus. Though the present government said that they oppose such strong political holds in colleges but still this words has not been kept.
