Before Going to the IIT R Architecture and Planning...

I have interest in design and NIRF of Architecture and planning At IIT Roorkee is1. From my childhood I am interested in buildings and construction and that's why I choose this course. For courses there are enough faculties like for foundation studio(engeeneering drawing) codes there is 6 faculties In which three yard professors and three are technical assistants. For other courses like climate engine architecture there is 2 faculties in which one is professor and one is technical assistant. For course of building and constructions there is 1 professor and one technical assistant. All the faculties are very much experienced and all of them are either of alumni of IIT Rookie or other design related colleges like SPA Delhi. There are two term exams conducted per semester in which there is a midterm and there is a end term, mid term contains approximately fifty percent of the syllabus of each course and end term contains full syllabus. The exams difficult are moderate.

I am currently not aware of the compa.... us opportunities for internships or stipdend, but there is definitely companies which provide us internships about 25-50K per month on the basis of skills and knowledge. The project is about about building design and creative innovation ideas, One of my senior which I have contact with has got a 25lpa placement in Bangalore in a design company

Placements are provided to student in the final year of their course. Internships are provided in the prefinal year of their course. Many big companies came to our campus like google, microlsoft, amazon, deollite, godrez. If a student Academy score is good and his skills are good then he/she will get definitely placement. Average placement of my branch is 10 lakh per year. Highest placement of my branch is 48 lpa last year and lower was 1 lpa, this data is for last year only. 90% of the students get placements and the remaing 10% go for M.arch or startup of their own. I am not open to discuss my plans after I get my degree. I am a little bit confused also I am a first year student.

The fees of architecture and planning course are 2 lakh per year. Actually all the courses have the same fees. In all iits almost the fees are same which is academically 1,00,000 per semester. There are many scholarships for students like fee waiver scholarship., MCM(merit cum schlorship). For more scholarship, you can visit the site of iit roorkee, there are many scholarships for meritius students. I am in the first year of this course, so I didn't know about this stipend or internship given to the students. But after consulting with seniors, I found that internship is given to the students on the basis of their skills and averagely each student get around 25k per month internship. One of my senior gets a internship of 50K per month. Also, there is no fees for reserved categories like SC, ST meaning that their academic fees is ?0. For OBC candidates, if the annual income of parents is less than 5 lakhs per year, then 2/3rd of the fees forbid meaning their fees remains 33K.

There are many two annual facts occurred at iitr Namely, Thomso and Cognizance. Thomso is a cultural fest in which many celeberities come occurs in october every year. Cognizance is a technical fest occurs in march every year. Library at iitr is fabulous. Almost containing every book of each kind. There are three floors at library. One is underground, When is ground floor and one floor is above the ground floor. In the underground floor there are. textbooks for students of their courses. On the ground floor, there is books for preparation of competitive exams like gate and iit jam and journals for Phd students. On the first floor, there are again books of different kinds and courses. Mainly on the first floor there is sitting areas for students. There is also a computer section for students on the ground floor. The classrooms are well constructed there are AC facilities And ventilator for cleaniness. There are almost hundreds of clubs at iitr Of different kind including sports.

Hostels are given for first year student at Rajendra Bhawan in iitr for boys and for girls kasturaba bhawan. Bhavan word is used instead of hostel. For each hostel There is a warden and a supervisor. There is a chief button also which is a professor of iitr. Mess quality is good. They provide meals which are good for health like pulses of each kind and rice and sabzi for different vegitables daily. In my opinion the breakfast of my hostel mess is equally good at my home. Menus provided every week. There is also an app for menu. For non vegetarian students there is chicken also on wednesday and sunday. Registration process contains approximately 2 hour. The price of hostel and mess is approximately 38300 per semester. I am currently residing in my hostel room so, I didn't know about the locality PG rooms

First, you have to clear JEE mains paper 1 which is for BE/B.TECH. then you are eligible for JEE advanced, in JEE advanced you have to get enough rank below the cutoff for architecture and planning, at last you must clear AAT(Architecture Apttitude test) which is hosted by JEE advanced board. Note that you are eligible for AAT even you have just got a rank whether below or above cutoff, but you will get architecture and planning by the rank of JEE advanced but you must clear AAT. Conclusion: You have to clear 3 exams JEE mains, JEE advanced, AAT. For JEE mains refer to the site of NTA(National Testing Agency), for JEE advanced and AAT refer to site of JEE advanced. Application fees of JEE mains and JEE advanced varies every year and is different for different categories, for general category it is 1000 for JEE mains and 3000 for JEE advanced this year. Dates also varies but it for JEE mains it held in january and april in 2 sessions and JEE advanced it held in june.
