Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is good but this year fees is increase. and scholarship is also available specially for west bengal domicile is easily available this scholarship and scohalarship name is (SVMCM) swami vivekanand merit cum scholarship. But this scholarship is criteria and criteria is semester score is 60% if you dont score is 60% then scholarship is not available. And other student scholarship is also available u can explore and scholarship available. Campus placement is good this year chemical highest package is 12.5lpa. and other department placement is also good this coolege specially good one thing is non- core placement is good but core placement is very good.

Campus Life

Cmpus life is very good compare to other west bengal college. This college complete land is 50acres. social life is very good. many clubs are available this college HITIan Times,HITian Inside,ACM Club,Mechnovate club, samparpan,etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel faculty is good. Below the hostel big ground many more sport is available for examole :- badmintation ,volleyball, cricket, football, and indore game is also available. this facility is available for hostel inside the coolege. and hostel mess is average. and sharing room is available one room four boys sharing and individual table, chair, bed,extension. And bed matrix, pillow is available to this hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

Three type of admission is available. First is TFW(Tution fees wavier) this type of admission is available for west bengal domicile, And second is WBJEE(west bengal joint entrance examination) and this exam is all over india any one give this exam, and third is management qutota. 10% seat is TFW, 10% seat is management quota, and remaining all seat is all over india .and also come to this college is JEE MAINS Entrance exam .

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

Okay, I've applied for 2-3 colleges(IEM Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology kolkata, Techno India Main Saltlake) alongwith HIT Haldia. But I choose this college because of mainly two reasons- 1)This is near my hometown. 6-7 km away from my house 2)My some school seniors are also studied here so they said me to take admission here Yes I've got rejection from many colleges also because my WBJEE and JEE main ranks are not so good. But I was selected to take admission i some colleges also but I didn't make that because of expensive fee structure and poor placements.
