This is just my perspective

I chose this course (Information Technology) because I am interested in coding and I love java. Faculty:student ratio is good as the teachers manage the students very well. Most of the teachers from the faculty are well educated in the subjects they teach and their teaching methods are fine. Term exams were conducted accordingly, unit test 1 was conducted in the month after the admission process and unit test 2 was conducted just before the practical exams. And speaking of the semester exams, they are conducted every 6 months.

From 5th semester or 3rd year, students can get placed. Various companies like Sciative, Neeyamo, Kodnest, ExcelR, Hexaware, Intellipaat and many more have conducted their placement drives in our college. The highest package offered was from Intellipaat and that was 7lpa. As the placements are conducted for students from various departments like CS, IT, AIML and DS, the percentage of students getting placement varies from department to department. In IT, its about 10-15%. After the degree, I am planning to work in a company.

According to me, the fee structure is well suited for a college like scoe. I haven't gotten a job yet because I haven't tried harder. Also, they have a scholarship called Mahadbt in which financial help is done by the govt for the students

Both the annual fest and Tech fest, called as Nakshatra, is conducted in the end of February or in March. The college library does have a variety of books for the subjects. The classroom has a projector and a white screen for it so that ppts can be shown. The college doesn't have a sports ground but it's still good. The college has a variety of groups like NSS, Rotaract and SAIT.

The admission process was done based on the cutoff percentage obtained by the students in diploma. I was eligible for the course as I had done diploma in computer engineering. The application form, application fees and dates were available in the college. I availed reservation benefits since I belong to OBC. One thing I would like to improve about the admission process is that it is tedious and takes a long time, the procedure for the admission needs to br explained well.
