Remarks

This college is good for you if you just want to study and do nothing apart from that.most of the students is not interested in extra curricular activities and don't participate in any of the extra activities

I had given JEE mains. I choose these college because it was the best college near my area. So I decided to choose these college.

I choose mechanical as my course because I like machines and I want to make my own creations in machines and promote them to the different companies and sell them

Internships Opportunities

The college doesn't provide any internship.you need to look by yourself for doing any internship. But faculties give ideas about internships program

Placement Experience

Many companies come to campus for hiring mech students only top few students are selected through campus placements with a salary of 3 to 3.5lac per annum most of the mech students try for non core related jobs and try to get into IT firms there was time 100% placement use to take place but now the college has been degraded in every possible way due to change of trustee and dirty politics.no one wants to progress.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is around 1lac which needs to be paid at the starting of every academic year.the fees very high compared to the infrastructure and labs provided by the college which is not upto the mark you can get scholarships if you belong to reserved category or your parents annual income is less then 6 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

Mumbai university offers scholarship for reserved category students apart from that EBC can be availed by students having annual income less than 6 lacs and if you have scored 9 pointer in a acadamic year you can avail scholarship offered by tata if you have not availed any other scholarship. you can also apply for TFWS at the start of filling CAP form if you have a good cet score.

Hostel Facilities

No hostel and mess facility is provided by college there was one canteen in the basement of new building but it has been shut down this year quality of that canteen was third class people use to get sick if you are hailing from out of mumbai you can stay in flats near college with other students on sharing basis.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful in every possible way they are very friendly and chilled out.they make you aware about each and every teacher and their experiences with the teachers and how to handle them.

Semester exams are taken in college by our university Mid term exams are taken by college

Faculties have great knowledge of what they teach and they give live examples to get better understanding and are helping in nature

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. In datta meghe you can get addmission through jee, mht cet and management Cet cut off for computer branch is near to 92.5 percentile for general for caste it is low Most of the students get addmission through MHT cet in my college. REALITY OF Datta Meghe College of Engineering

I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. Cutoff depends on the branch but it ranges from 50-95 percentile in cet exams. overall the admission process is not too easy neither too hard....Read More

i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
