Remarks

this by far the best campus i have been to and i wonder if any better college could exist i just love my college a lot and there is this thing its a government college so no worries at all i will get placed or either get a good job after i get graduate from here i have the tag NIT that what makes it more of like the best.

Entrance Preview

the only thing that is to be kept in mind in order to get into any nit is clearing up the JEE mains examination . there is no other process to get into the college. there is no interview process . i choose production engineering as that was the only branch available to me with my rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

the aicte approved college follows a well-set curriculum when it comes to knowledge and by knowledge, i mean both practical and theoretical. lot of research work goes on for masters student and the undergraduate if interested can always join them and get the one time experience.

Internships Opportunities

no the college does not provide any internship but it is kind of important to get at least two internship or training before getting graduate from the college in order to have a better view on industrial working.

Placement Experience

4.5

a lot of companies visit us every year and 70% of our students get placed to big companies the average pakage of our college is about 4.5 lak .there are companies like infosys , wipro, tcs,l&t etc.which visit our campus on yearly basis.

College Events

3.5

technology our technical fest go o every year there after we have cura our management fest and then spring spree our cultural fest.these events are centrally as well as sponsored by some big companies each year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

it entirely depends upon the semester you are in like if you are in odd sem you would have to give hostel fee also so that would cost around 70000/- and if you enroll yourself in even sem the fee would cost you around 47000/-

Fees and Financial Aid

yes there is loan you can get at lower rates due to the reputation of the college

Campus Life

3.5

the event exposure gives a wide range in developing a good skill set in one and the opportunities lie equal for all.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel is the good place you will feel in your four-year course . the friendship and bonding you get are class aprat so do opt for the hostel . do not think the food is all good and you will get a well-fluffed chapati out of the oven . the mess is the place you will hate after all.

Alumni/Alumna

we have a very good alumni network and we do call our best alumni to the college every year .

Exam Structure

the exams are divided into majors and minors in which minors one has to obtain a min of 15 out of 50 and major 30 out of 100 to pass the sem. the labs are fully equipped and there is no restriction in using any of these at all times.

Faculty

4.5

the faculty here is extremely knowledgeable and highly experienced when it comes to the guidance they help their student well and to encourage them with various aspects of engineering. The teacher-student interaction is a very common thing on the campus and even outside. For North Indians do focus on your studies because you are not one of them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
