Course Curriculum Overview

I was choosed this course for a good placement.The faculty and students ratio is 7.The qualification of the faculties are b tech pass in chemical engineering.The teaching methods is very good.The semester examination is conducted in every January and June.

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement and HPL,DHUMSERI,IOCL companies are visited and no of offers are 500 and the highest package is 500000 rupees in every year and 99 percent students getting placement andAfter getting degree I want to go higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is very low cost.The yearly fees structure is 800 rupees.The name of the scholarship is Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.The job opportunities is very good.The on campus placement opportunities is also available.

Campus Life

Name of the annual fest is annual fes which is conducted in every January in every year.The tech fest is conducted in every August month in every year.All study book is available in library.The story book is also available in the library.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is higher secondary pass.The application form is founded in online website wbsctvesd.The application fees are 100 rupees.The date of the application was 03.05.2023.I am belong from OBC category,so I was benefited.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

Highest package is of Jindal around 17k and average package is 11k with accommodations. 85-90% students get placement. I am planning for higher study completing B.tech after getting the degree.

There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.
