The campus is very decent in terms of amenties.
The mess food is comparatively very good.
The system of student choosing his own class timing is just awesome which this college provides you.

Dislikes

The academic block is situated very far from the hostels.
Hostelers are not allowed to leave campus without a long process of leave approval
The sports facilities are not very good here in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course of Btech in CS - AIML because I think the future belongs to Artifical Intelligence and it has tremendous scope. The faculty members in my college are excellent, they help me understand the subject and keeps my interests in the subject alive.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is around 2L per year, that is only tuition fees. Mess fees is aroubd 75k per year if you opt for it. Hostel fees may vary for the fact that how many roommates do you want from 1 to 7. The hostel fees may vary from 1L to 1.9L depending upon your room type.

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty decent here at VIT. There are various clubs in college which reguarly organises events and fests. The classrooms are very well designed here at VIT, with a modern taste. The college library is an amazing place for any bibliophile, you can find books on any interest you would like to deep dive into.

Admission

VIT takes a centralized exam called as VITEEE for admission into its all campuses - Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and AP. The cutoff are not revealed by VIT. The exam is a 3 hour long test comprising of 120 question with no negative marking and 1 mark each awarded for correct answer. The level of VITEEE is somehow parallel to boards level and is significantly lower than JEE's level.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

Whether you should join VIT bhopal or not

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
