Course Curriculum Overview

Data Science has become really popular in the last few years and has a huge scope in the future as well. The faculty count is really high and classes are conducted well. All faculty of the college are almost IIT graduates but teaching methods are not really up to the mark.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 120 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internships for several companies like Bajaj, Technocolabs, Amazon, Google etc. They give us the guidance needed for applying for them. Most of the projects taken up are mostly all related to Data Science.

Placement Experience

From 3rd or 4th year, students are eligible for placements are training takes place for them regularly. Many high tech companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Infosys etc come for taking interviews and hire students as well. The average package last year was 18LPA. Around 70% of students were placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees are entirely based off merit. You'll be placed into either one of 3 categorys with category 1 being lowest amount and category 3 higher amount for fees. Hostel rooms are also allocated based off merit and vary depnding on the type of room you get.

Campus Life

Every week, there will be atleast one event to participate in. The library has 2 floors and has all the resources and amenities needed for a student. Classrooms are equipped with boards and projectors for digital learning. Many clubs such as AI club, DS club, Anime club, CS clubs are there which are run by students.

Admission

Admission process is based on your board marks and VITEEE exam Once results are out, counselling takes place in the next 2-3 days and your course will be told to you after a weeks time. A deadline of 3 weeks will be given to pay the tuition and hostel fees and in September, you will be asked to report to the college.

Placement Experience:

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
