Beautiful campus. Greenery and mesmerizing architecture.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because of my interest in the field of technology. Faculties are PhD scholars Two mid sems are conducted with sufficient gaps and end sem . Exams are very easy to pass . One just needs 33 /100 to pass .

Internships Opportunities

Not much intership opportunities are available for the students. However, some companies do offer appreciable intership opportunities with good stipend. As of now , being 1st semester student, I'm not in the state of mentioning any specific company

Placement Experience

On campus placements are meagre. But off campus placements are fantastic. Year by year placements are improving. I've planned to pursue master in my field after completing btech. As of now , I don't have much info about placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Very nominal fee of all the courses. Yes , there are various scholarships and assistance for financially poor students. You can find detailed fee structure on the official website of Aligarh Muslim University

Campus Life

There are numerous clubs to join ... Namely Roboclub, SAE club, UAV club , Machine Learning club , Code Chef etc.. Apart from such branch related clubs there are many clubs to enrich co curricular activities as well .UDLC is one such club . For sports we have horse riding club , swimming clubs and many more.

Hostel Facilities

First year and Second year students are accomodated five seater rooms .. whereas 3rd year students get 3 seater and 4th year gets single seater rooms . Every hostel has its own mess which provides daily 3 time meal . Apart from this , some hostels have canteen as well . Quality of meal is average. And if very affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 6000 per year

Admission

It is required to pass class 12th with min 45% to be eligible for admission. Application forms can easily be found on the official website of AMU . Forms are filled online mode whereas the exams are conducted in pen and paper mode .

Student eligible from 7th sem and test started from that time also for diff diff companies.google microsoft oracle qudeye comes to college with big bog pacakges and number of offers approx 1200 offers made .Highest pacakge was 2.2 cr and lowest was 10 lpa for sde role.If thinks got as planned i will be seating in placement otherwise gate exam

Practical project , Good faculty but mixed crowd.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year you are eligible for placement sheat in college. The highest package was 1.5 cr approx and average 7-8 lakh. Percentage of students to get placement should be around 1/4 of overall students means . I will apply for both on campus and off campus placement.

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

Placement Experience:

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement is good the highest placement was in 2022 that is 49 LPA and this year also 20 LPA of 3 students and 15 lpa of 4 students and many of 5 to 10 lpa . If a student does not get package or job it is his or her fault. Amy be he or she has not prepared or have any skill to get placed if you have potential you can get placed. Every student in college get placed at minimum 3 lpa. The placement rate is 90 %.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.

AMU was amazing!!
