Remarks

A hectic schedule and a huge campus is a pain at times but I hope this journey is worth the pain. A point worth mentioning is that academics here is purely digital. We have digital assignments and we give our exams on digital pads or other online platforms.

Entrance Preview

I wrote the VITEE and attained a decent rank to land up in a stream of my choice. I had other options as well including the local colleges but VIT was ranked 13 among engineering colleges in India by MHRD so, I developed an edge towards this University. There was no interview kind of thing after the entrance exam. My keen interest in coding and problem solving led to my decision of choosing the I.T course.

Course Curriculum Overview

VIT stands up to its expectations. Being in the I.T course, I've been properly nurtured for being an excellent coder and they set up a solid ground for my further development. All my subjects including Physics, Maths, Chemistry, etc. have fully equipped laboratories and most of the time is spent on practical application than on theoretical terms.

Internships Opportunities

Being a first-year student, I haven't experienced Internships. But I've heard that students here experience great internships, including foreign trips.

Placement Experience

One of the major reasons for choosing VIT was their record placements. In fact last year VIT experienced nearly 100% placements. Major companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco, Mahendra, Intel, Flipkart, PayPal, and many more. As per my knowledge, the average package was around 6-7 lacs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee structure was similar to other renowned government engineering colleges. The hostel and the mess are also pretty affordable.

At the present moment, most of my teachers have Ph.D.'s and are well aware of their stream. They are quite interactive and we interact a lot on social media as well.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

the honest vit review.

Viteee 2021 was held in online mode. there were many cases of cheating because of which the administration then didn't allow zooming in and showed the registration number as the watermark in multiple places. the cutoff went really high as the exam was held before jee and everyone wanted to secure a seat in a good private college. the exam server was v poor it had even crashed in one slot. all the details about the admission fees dates and forms were available on the official site. I am aware of students who are aware of nothing but still are in category 1 in CSE because they cheated and weren't caught, this really boils my blood because even after studying so hard I got category 2. the entrance is usually held offline mode but this was held in online mode and was nothing next to faithfully done....Read More
