Hostel Life is so good in aligarh muslim University
Some department offers very good placement in the engineering college
Library is the best place to study in the university

Dislikes

Some department do not offer good placement or some even worse
Disturbance during the college student union election
My hostel is far from my college which is outside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum depends on the branch you get during the councelling And every semester they have different credits and the subjects are also pre decided by the department It also have some electives courses which you have to choose during the registration of the courses

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 17900 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very low Like at my time the for 4th year is 18900(1st year) 7300 every year (2nd year ,3rd year and 4thyear) There are various scholarships for financial assistance Some by state government and some by central government The financial assistance is also provided by alumni under various programs

Campus Life

There are different types of fest in college as well as in hostels Different faculty have different types of fest in their college like zarf in Zakir Hussain college of engineering and technology and farozaan was the hostel fest Overall the college and hostel Life is so good People are so friendly and helpful and the senior too There is zero tolerance for ragging

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very cheap and the fee for year is 2000 at my time and foods cost is 1600 per month but the food quality depends on the hostel that you get because there are different hostel so food quality is average And hostel are not easily available now a days to to increase in the number of seats in the college

Hostel Fee: INR 18800 per year

Admission

Yes there was an entrance exam amueee .you have to qualify that exam after that based on rank you will get the different branch according to your rank. They just display the rank of selected and waitlisted candidates only They didn't disclose the cutoff

LIFE AT PSIT - PLACE WHERE KNOWLEDGE MEETS PASSION AND DETERMINATION

Placement Experience:

At PSIT, students are allowed for campus jobs from the 6th sem . Many top firms visit each year, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra , HCL and Capgemini. Some product firms like ZS and Hashedin also hire from PSIT. The highest pay for CSE was around 30 lpa and the average pay stays near rupee 6 lpa . More than 90 percent of students get placed in good roles like software dev, data analyst or QA engineer. The college also runs training drives for coding , mock tests and soft skils growth. After my degree , I plan to go for Mtech at IIT Madras and then work in the tech field or research area.

If you are good at studies and have good technical and soft skills will get the offer. The average package is not very handsome but you'll get a good amount. Generally, final year students are eligible for campus placements. You may apply for the off-campus opportunities and get a very good package. Many students also prepare for GATE and other government exams.
