- Avg packages are bit low as compared to other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview
I chose INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY because this course is in high demand in the software field.The faculty:student ratio is about 1:23 . All faculty members are well educated and proficient and have excellent teaching skills . Exams are conducted timely and fairly.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opprtunities are less but not absent . Students are elegible for internships in their third year.CSE and IT students generally get higher number of internships . Stipends are of industry standards.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements once they enter their 7th sem i.e their final year . Companies ike American Express, Zynga Tech , Tech Mahindra etc visit our campus. Multiple off capmus offers are also offered. Highest on campus offer last year was 24 lpa , whereas off campus it was 36lpa. Average pkg is about 3lpa. Students from CSE and IT get about 70% placement .
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is quite affordable and hikes are very rare. Several state and central scholarships are provided to students based on merit and needs. Even the city is not very expensive and cost of living is considerably affordable .
Campus Life
Annual techfest is EQUILIBRIO , conducted in the month of August. Central Library is the home to thousands of books , ranging from philosophy to technology and science. University has a dedicated sports department which is open for all students from across departments of GGU. B.Tech has multiple clubs i.e GDSC(GOOGLE), GFGGGV (GEEKSFORGEEKS), NEXUS(alumni cell) etc for social meetups and interactions.
Admission
You need to appear for JEE-MAINS , in which 90 percentile score is considered as a safe score for General category candidates.After JEE , the councelling process is carried out by JoSAA and CSAB in rounds for all NITs, IIITs and GFTIs across India. Here in GGU , most of the seats are filled in the special rounds of CSAB. After the CSAB rounds , SPOT COUNSELLING takes place at he university level .
